1. Landry’s Creole & Cajun Seafood
The restaurant offers a variety of Cajun cuisine, including seafood gumbo, fried fish, red beans and rice, crawfish and seasoned Cajun seafood.
2. Summerwood Elementary playground
Summerwood Elementary School’s new “Sports All-Star”-themed playground is designed for children ages 5-12 and includes a 16-foot climbing tower, sensory panels, slides, swings and spinners.
The barbershop offers an upscale experience in which customers can receive a variety of services and enjoy a drink. Per the website, Whisper Chair specializes in gentleman’s cuts, precision fades, sharp edge-ups, and expertly shaped beard and eyebrow trims. With access being reserved for members only, a speakeasy in the barbershop boasts a full bar.

4. Lakeland Elementary playground
Humble ISD officials will celebrate the opening of a new “Futuristic”-themed playground at Lakeland Elementary School with a dedication ceremony at 5 p.m. May 13. According to a May 1 news release, the playground is designed for children ages 5-12 and will include slides, net and belt climbers, swings and balance challenges.
Located at Deerbrook Mall in Humble, Score Entertainment will offer a variety of activities, including laser tag, go-karts, bowling, ax throwing, a trampoline park and more. In addition to activities, the venue will also feature a restaurant offering cuisine from Rudy’s Barbecue as well as two full-service bars.
What’s next—Permits filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
The Ohio-based chain is known for its create-your-own and signature pizzas with “Edge to Edge” toppings and crust options, including thin, thicker, hand-tossed, and cauliflower. In addition to pizza, the menu includes subs, calzones, chicken wings, salads, breadsticks and desserts. Pickup, delivery and catering services are also available.
