TGIF!

May has finally begun, and what better way to start it than with a weekend spent with mom.

Weekends with my mom were always fun, and we almost always spent them shopping. We would play dress-up in the Macy’s dressing room, strut down the shoe department in the highest of heels, and end our day giggling over kung pao chicken at our favorite Chinese restaurant. Nothing beats spending some time with your mom, and we wouldn’t be the people we are today without them!

This weekend, show your mom some appreciation with your pick of Mother’s Day events in Arlington. Maybe a nice brunch on Sunday morning at Taste Community Market, or shopping at the Rhythm & Relics flea market on Saturday. If your mom happens to be a UFC fanatic, you can take her to watch the Chimaev vs. Strickland fight at Texas Live!.

However you choose to spend the weekend with your mom, feel free to email me and let me know what you’re up to. See you next Friday!
