Grab your sunblock and put on some good walking shoes — You can explore everything the city’s zoo has to offer for a discounted price on select days this summer.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens is heavily slashing its admission prices on select days this summer.
The discounted days offer families a more affordable way to spend the day outside and also keep their children learning while school is out. On a normal weekday, an adult general admission ticket can cost each visitor more than $30; on five days, they will be $10 instead.
$10 Tuesdays will be held on the following 2026 dates:
- June 9
- June 23
- July 7
- July 21
- August 4
Children under the age of three get into the zoo for free.
Tickets can be bought online in advance or at the entrance when you arrive. No promo code is required.
Visitors who have not been to the zoo recently will notice some changes right away. The entrance has been completely redesigned, with the addition of a large canopy and the 300,000-gallon Manatee River exhibit.
