Suspicious device (Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office)

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office says a bomb squad has taken possession of a suspicious device found in a northwest Harris County home after it was determined to be a live explosive device.

It happened at a home near the 16500 block of Courtland Circle.

The constable’s office says there is no threat to the public and the bomb squad has taken possession of the device and will safely destroy it.

“We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation while deputies and specialized units worked to secure the area safely,” the constable’s office said.
