A 13-year-old boy crossing a Brooklyn street was struck by a driver, leaving him with serious head injuries Friday morning, police said.

The teen is in critical condition at Maimonides Medical Center.

The 55-year-old driver stayed at the scene of the collision in Borough Park. He was not immediately charged or summonsed but police are still investigating the incident.

Police said the man was driving his Nissan Versa south on 15th Ave. when he struck the boy at 38th St. just after 8 a.m.

The impact left a large dent on the hood of the car.
