The production, a traditional staging by Lee Blakeley, features longtime company favorite Craig Colclough in the title role. Colclough portrays Sir John Falstaff, a boastful but cash-strapped knight whose ill-fated scheme to seduce two wealthy Windsor wives—Alice Ford and Meg Page—spirals into a whirlwind of deception and public humiliation.

Joining Colclough in this ensemble masterpiece are vocalists Nicole Heaston, Ernesto Petti, and Hyona Kim as the vengeful pranksters, alongside Deanna Breiwick and Anthony León as the opera’s central young lovers. The performance is noted for its period-specific aesthetics, including lavish scenery and sumptuous costumes designed by Adrian Linford.
