A Dallas woman is facing assault charges after officials say she kicked, bit, and spat at officers Friday evening.
Dallas police responded to the intersection of Fort Worth Avenue and North Hampton Road to assist an officer with an ambulance call at approximately 9:13 p.m.
A preliminary investigation found that officers were called to assist with arresting 37-year-old Lakita Williams, who allegedly kicked, bit, and spat at officers.
According to officials, no officers required medical assistance after the alleged assault.
Williams was taken to the hospital for medical evaluation and then booked into jail. She has been charged with Assault on Peace Officer.
