Omaha Supernovas fall to Dallas in MLV Championship match in five sets

  • May 10, 2026

FRISCO, TX. (WOWT) — The Dallas Pulse defeated the Omaha Supernovas 3-2 Saturday to win the first Major League Volleyball championship and the $1 million prize.

The teams were tied at one set apiece when Brooke Mosher tooled the block to get the Supernovas to set point. Omaha took the third set 25-15.

Playing in front of the home crowd, Dallas rallied in the fourth set. Kaitlyn Hord dropped the hammer to force a fifth set.

The Pulse sprinted out to an 8-4 lead in the deciding set and did not look back. Tristin Savage recorded the block to end the match.

Omaha’s run came up short of a storybook ending. The Supernovas made a coaching change just over a month ago and entered the postseason as the No. 4 seed. They upset the No. 1 seed Indy Ignite in the semifinals to reach the championship match.
