SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A Cuban national is facing prison time after he was convicted by a federal jury of ramming vehicles belonging to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
According to court documents, Robyn Argote-Brooks, 25, of Havana, Cuba, was found guilty on two counts of destruction of government property. The amount of damage to each vehicle exceeded $1,000.
Argote-Brooks was arrested and charged with one count of destruction of government property. An indictment filed February 4 added a second destruction of government property count as well as a charge of forcibly assaulting a federal officer. U.S.
ICE Homeland Security Investigations investigated the case with assistance from ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations.
