On a scale of Willy Loman’s garden to the “Panic in Central Park,” what is Tony nominee Christopher Abbott’s NYQ? This is “NYQ,” a series in which we find out how “New York” notable New Yorkers really are.

How many years have you lived in New York City? Twenty. Even.

You could make one subway-etiquette rule law — what would it be? Don’t eat. Don’t take up too much space. Don’t breathe, ideally.

Someone bumps into you on the subway — what do you do? There’s nothing you can do about that. That’s just sort of par for the course.

Your train line is down and you are running late — what do you do? If the weather is good enough, biking is my go-to. It’s the quickest way to get around.

Your cab driver is taking you on a horrible route. Do you interrupt? You give them — they’re making the choice. There’s a way to do it sneakily. What do you think about taking Sixth up or whatever? Make it their idea.

How often do you take public transportation to the airport? Never.

Someone tries to hand you a flyer on the street — what do you do? I just keep my hands in my pockets and just look up.

It’s a blinking red light and you’re about to cross — do you wait it out till it says walk, or are you crossing? You’re going.

You are in the Financial District and need to have dinner ASAP, or you’ll pass out. Where do you go? Maybe the Odeon.

You have family coming to town in 24 hours — what do you do with them on short notice? Let them figure it out on their own.

You’re in town for a long holiday weekend and know the city will empty out — where do you go? I mean, I guess you got to go, like, all these restaurants that you can never get into. You know, Four Charles — there’s a long wait list for that.

Would you rather transfer trains or walk farther? Walk.

Someone says the rats are actually cute — what’s your honest response? All right.

Someone you want to impress asks for restaurant advice — what neighborhood do you send them to for the best Italian food? Altro Paradiso is one of my favorites. It’s one of my go-tos. I’m there all the time.

Have you ever actually been to Staten Island? I have. Four times.

What’s your area code? 203. I haven’t changed my number since I was 15.

Bedbugs or roaches? Roaches.

Roaches or rats? Roaches.

Do you call Manhattan “the city” or just Manhattan? If you’re in Brooklyn, you’ll say, “Manhattan.” If you’re outside of New York entirely, you’ll say, “the city.”

What’s your go-to public bathroom? I’ll be honest. I don’t shit in public.

What about NYC still makes no sense to you? It is kind of weird that the subways are always a little bit fucked up.

You know you’re a New Yorker when … You feel like you own a part of the city, somehow. You have some ownership over it.

What’s a place that closed that you wish you could bring back? Beatrice Inn.

Last time you ate a hot dog from a hot-dog stand? Before I moved here. Probably, like, 30 years ago.

How many times have you moved in New York? Fifteen.

What’s the hardest move you’ve done? All of them, for some reason. The longest one, I would say — like, it was Harlem to East Village to Bed-Stuy. It was a big transition.

Has your phone ever gone off during a live performance? Never.

Have you ever fallen asleep while in the audience? Yes.

What do you do if the person next to you is behaving badly? You say something.

Every New Yorker should do what at least once? Yell at someone who didn’t pick up their dog shit.
