Dan Hurley and his staff continue to build their roster for 2026-27 as they attempt to make yet another Final Four run.
The Huskies on Saturday landed a commitment from Jacksonville State transfer point guard Jaye Nash for backcourt depth, sources confirmed.
The 6-foot-3 Memphis native averaged 5.1 points, 4.0 assists and 2.8 rebounds last season while shooting 31% from the field.
UConn recently announced the signings of Oskar Giltay, Najai Hines, Nikolas Khamenia and Nils Machowski.
The quintet of newcomers join returners Solo Ball, Silas Demary Jr., Braylon Mullins, Jacob Ross and Jayden Ross along with incoming freshmen Junior County and Colben Landrew on the 2026-27 UConn roster.
In other UConn related news, 7-2 transfer center Rrezon Elezaj has signed with Appalachian State, per Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports.
Elezaj redshirted as a freshman at UConn last season. Before that, he played with Turkey’s 2025 FIBA U18 Eurobasket team.
