Toronto police have arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with a serious collision in Etobicoke that occurred early Saturday evening.

Officials say the incident happened in the area of Kipling and Horner Avenues shortly after 7:30 p.m. for reports of a female pedestrian struck by a vehicle.

It’s unclear what led up to incident but police say the driver “did not remain on scene.”

As a result, the woman was taken to hospital by paramedics where they say her injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.

In an update to CP24 Sunday morning, investigators say they have located the vehicle and the driver, who is only identified as a 34-year-old man.

No charges have been announced at this time.

Anyone with additional information is asked to contact police.
