Eagle, Idaho (Idahonews.com) – An Eagle, Idaho woman is stepping into the spotlight in hopes of finding love on national television.

Guterman says the idea to apply didn’t come out of nowhere, it was encouragement from people closest to her.
“My best friend has watched every show and she loves it,” Guterman said. “My boss actually sent me the casting link and said, ‘I think you should try this out.’”
The casting process took about six months, and Guterman kept it mostly under wraps until she knew she was heading to the show.
“When I finally told my mom and sister, they were shocked,” she said. “But not shocked that I’d go on a reality show.”
Once filming began, Guterman says the experience quickly became immersive and a little surreal.

“When I flew out to Nashville, I had no idea who I was going to be with,” she said. “I didn’t even know his name until day one of filming.”
Despite the uncertainty, she says producers made the transition feel natural, especially as contestants got to know one another.
“You show up, meet all the girls, and you’re trying to figure out — are we dating the same guy?” she said. “But we got really close.”
Without phones or outside distractions, Guterman says relationships formed quickly.
“We did puzzles, word searches, went on walks, just explored the land,” she said. “You really get to know each other, and we had so much fun.”
Guterman, who grew up in a farming town, says she felt comfortable with the rural lifestyle featured on the show.
“Nothing was really hard on the farm for me,” she said. “I grew up around animals and manual labor.”
She says one of the most meaningful parts of the experience was seeing the farmers in their own element.
“It was really cool being on someone else’s property and seeing how much it meant to them,” she said.
Still, the emotional intensity of the show stood out as the biggest challenge.
“You’re so in it. That’s all you’re doing 24/7,” she said. “You have to remind yourself there’s a world outside of this.”
As for what’s next, Guterman isn’t ruling out future TV appearances.
“Maybe a game show,” she said.
