SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Six people were hurt, one critically, in a wrong-way crash on Loop 101 in Scottsdale late Saturday night.
Just after 11 p.m., troopers responded to a three-vehicle crash on Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) near Chaparral Road, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Troopers say a driver in a black Audi sedan was headed southbound in the northbound lanes before crashing into two other vehicles.
A total of six people were hospitalized, with one with critical injuries. The condition of the other five was not immediately known.
Authorities closed Loop 101 for several hours as they investigated.
