WILLOW PARK – Edith Esther Greenwood passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the age of 92. Visitation: 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, May 15, 2026, in the Breyley Room at Mount Olivet Chapel. Funeral: 2:30 pm on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Mount Olivet Chapel. Reception: 5:30 pm in the dining room following the funeral service at The Preserve Of Willow Park, 149 Mary Lou Dr., Willow Park, Texas, 76087. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Born February 17, 1934, in Blytheville, Arkansas to Daniel and Christine Laxson Webster, Edith was the oldest of six children and was known for her outgoing personality, kind heart, and many talents. She spent most of her working life as a bookkeeper and payroll clerk. She loved crocheting, knitting, and was a wonderful cook who enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends. Edith was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Johnny Greenwood; her parents; brothers Jimmy Webster and Danny Webster; sisters Christine Reid and Judy Havens; and grandson, Ethan Greenwood. She is survived by her children, John Greenwood of Haltom City, Sandra Davis of Houston, Keith Greenwood, and Katrina Jones of North Richland Hills, her sister, Sue King of New Orleans, 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and many, many friends.
