Phoenix firefighters stopped a burning RV from spreading to a nearby home Sunday afternoon in Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix Fire Department, crews were dispatched around 4:30 p.m. to the area of 59th Avenue and Indian School Road after reports of a house fire.
When firefighters arrived, they found an RV engulfed in flames in the backyard of a home. Crews quickly deployed hose lines and extinguished the fire before it spread to the home.
Officials said six people were displaced by the fire. Members of the Community Assistance Program are helping those affected with immediate needs.
No injuries have been reported.
Fire investigators are now working to determine what caused the fire.
Phoenix Fire officials have not released additional details about the extent of damage or whether the RV was occupied at the time of the blaze.
