Man shot dead on West Side, suspect at large, BCSO

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — There are more questions than answers after a man was found dead of a gunshot wound on the West Side Wednesday night.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, Franky Garza, 24, was found unresponsive just before 11 p.m. outside a home in the 11800 block of Potranco Road. Emergency crews arrived and tried life-saving measures, but Garza was soon pronounced dead.

The death has been ruled a homicide, and no arrests have been made.
