The non-profit Christian broadcaster Radio Training Network is purchasing “Nash Icon 93.3” WWFF Huntsville, AL, “100.5 The Game” WWFN Florence, SC and classic hip-hop “OG 97.9” W250BC Atlanta from Cumulus Media for $2.45 million.

The sale sets off a series of frequency realignments for both “OG” and classic alternative rock sister “99X” WNNX (100.5).

With the pending sale, “OG” will shift to 98.9 on Cumulus’ FM translator W255CJ, which currently simulcasts “99X.” Until the sale of W250BC is finalized, “OG” will air on both translators.

“OG” will also move from Cumulus CHR “Q99.7” WWWQ’s HD3 channel to HD2, the latter frequency also currently simulcasting “99X.” As a result of these realignments, “99X” will now air only on 100.5 FM.

None of the moves impact “Q99.7” itself, or Cumulus’ other Atlanta station, “New Country 101.Five” WKHX.

“The pending sale of the 97.9 FM translator, together with these frequency realignments, reflects our disciplined approach to optimizing our Atlanta assets,” Cumulus Atlanta VP/Market Manager Justin Schaflander says. “These moves strengthen signal efficiency and position our brands for continued growth.”
