Safely Shred event raises thousands for Paradise Valley Police Department charities

The annual Safely Shred and Electronic Recycling event was another big success, raising thousands of dollars for those in need.

The Paradise Valley Police Department and event co-sponsor Mike Cummiskey, president of Paradise Valley Wealth Management, extended a big “thank you” to the Paradise Valley residents who participated at the event hosted out of Paradise Valley in late April.

“Thanks are also owed to the great team of PVPD volunteers, officer Brian Ong who managed the day, and officer Vasilije Sagovnovic, ‘V’, who has taken over for Jimmy Phan as our new Community Resource Officer,” according to a press release. “Thanks also for the assistance of AZStRUT (Arizona Students Recycling Used Technology).”
