JACKSONVILLE, Onslow County — A Jacksonville woman is accused of kidnapping and assaulting a pregnant woman during an incident on Monday.

Records show 34-year-old Amy Feterowski was arrested May 11 and is now facing multiple charges, including felony second-degree kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, assault on a pregnant woman, simple assault, and three counts of assault on a government official.

According to warrants from the Jacksonville Police Department, Feterowski allegedly restrained the victim without consent and held her at gunpoint. They further state she placed the woman in a headlock and forced her down a hallway into another room while pointing a pistol.

Authorities say the victim was pregnant at the time. During the incident, Feterowski allegedly pushed on the victim’s stomach while she was on the floor, causing pain.

Police also say another person was injured while trying to disarm Feterowski during the altercation.

During her arrest, officers say Feterowski attempted to bite multiple Jacksonville police officers.

She is currently being held in the Onslow County Jail without bond. Her court date is set for Tuesday, May 12.
