JSO looking for woman they say shot man inside business on Atlantic Blvd overnight

JSO investigators said the shooting stemmed from a fight inside the business on Atlantic Boulevard and Century Street.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office investigators are looking for a woman they say shot and injured a man inside a business on Atlantic Boulevard near Century Street early Tuesday morning.

Investigators said the shooting happened at 3 a.m. Tuesday when a fight broke out inside the business. 

A man in his early 40s was shot during the fight, and when officers arrived, he was taken to the hospital. Investigators said he’s currently stable in the hospital.

Investigators said the suspect is an unknown woman who left the scene, and they’re working to find out if she left on foot or in a vehicle.
