The Athletics are calling up outfield prospect Henry Bolte ahead of Tuesday night’s home game against the St. Louis Cardinals. Bolte is one of hottest prospects in the minors, batting .348 with 12 home runs, 28 RBI, and 17 stolen bases in 37 games with the Las Vegas Aviators in Triple-A. He is rated as the A’s fifth-best prospect, according to MLB.com. The 22-year-old Bay Area native led all of minor league baseball in runs (41), hits (55), and total bases (104), according to the A’s. Bolte, a graduate of Palo Alto High School, was a second-round selection in the 2022 MLB Draft. Infielder Michael Stefanic is also joining the A’s from Triple-A. Other roster moves the A’s made Tuesday were placing All-Star shortstop Jacob Wilson on the 10-day injured list, optioning infielder Brett Harris to Las Vegas and designated pitcher Eduarniel Nunez for assignment.
