Amazfit appears to have teased the upcoming Cheetah 2 Ultra smartwatch on social media. Zepp Health, the company behind the Amazfit brand, recently launched the Cheetah 2 Pro smartwatch (curr. $449.99 at Amazon) in countries worldwide.
Firstly, the name Cheetah 2 Ultra was confirmed in the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) in Singapore, as reported by Chinese Smartwatches. Now, in Malaysia, Amazfit has released a teaser image for an unnamed smartwatch on Facebook. Flagged by a Reddit user, the image shows the outline of a round smartwatch, featuring two buttons and a crown on its right-hand side. Plus, there appear to be cut-outs in the watch’s casing near the strap, as found on the new Cheetah 2 Pro. Accompanying the image are the words “Refined Performance” and “Coming soon. Stay Tuned.”
Zepp Health has yet to officially confirm the Cheetah 2 Ultra. As such, it is unclear how this model will differ from the Cheetah 2 Pro, aside from the addition of the crown. It is likely to be an upgraded version of the Pro model, which offers features like an AMOLED display, GPS, a 20 day battery life and a built-in flashlight. It is unclear when Amazfit will release the Cheetah 2 Ultra smartwatch. However, rumors suggest that it could arrive in May 2026.
