One of Chicago’s best-known breakfast restaurants, famous for its perfect cinnamon rolls, is adding a new location on the Wicker Park-West Town border.
Last month, it was reported that Ann Sather, located on Belmont Avenue in Lakeview, was expected to relocate sometime in June or July due to a developer preparing to build an apartment building on the site. Now, it appears the breakfast spot has found its permanent new home.

According to Block Club Chicago, a sign in the window announced that the Swedish breakfast and lunch staple, renowned for its cinnamon rolls, is “coming in July.”
The Division Street venue will succeed the Belmont location, marking it as the third Ann Sather establishment in the city.
This new Ann Sather will not only continue its tradition of serving scrumptious breakfasts but will also introduce a dedicated to-go bakery section where customers can pick up their favorite cinnamon rolls and a variety of other pastries.
Adding to the atmosphere, a sidewalk café will feature an additional 40-50 seats, enhancing the indoor dining capacity of approximately 150 diners.
In addition to the new location, Ann Sather also has restaurants at 3415 N. Broadway and 1147 W. Granville Ave.
