On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem received a group of thirty pilgrims with their priests from the Patriarchate of Moscow.
He bestowed his blessing upon them and emphasised that the witness of the Resurrection of Christ is the All-Holy and Life-Giving Tomb, which is likewise a sign of the unity of all the Orthodox Churches.
Thereafter, Patriarch Theophilos received a group of thirty members of the flock from the village of Tur’an in northern Galilee, accompanied by their priest, Fr Elias Awad.
Finally, Patriarch Theophilos received Mr Odeh Kawas, representative of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem to the World Council of Churches.
On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, Patriarch Theophilos received the Franciscan priest, Fr Dobromir, regarding matters related to the restoration works at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
Finally, Patriarch Theophilos received Metropolitan Mark of Berlin of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR), who conveyed festal greetings on the occasion of the recent Feast of Pascha and the forthcoming Feast of the Ascension.
