Scottsdale Unified School District will seek approval to sell three old school sites during the Nov. 3 election.

The board voted 5-0 during its May 12 meeting to ask the voters’ approval to sell the Cholla, Apache and Oak campuses, none of which have active schools on them, though the district’s southern bus barn is located at Apache.

If the voters approve the board’s request, it does not necessarily mean the campuses will be sold; it simply gives the board authority to sell them, if it wants.
