New Vegas is coming to Los Angeles this weekend. A collection of Fallout’s retro-futuristic costumes and props will be part of an immersive activation at the Westfield Century City mall May 16-17, Gold Derby has exclusively learned.
The exhibition will also feature Season 2 production photography as well as concept art from Emmy-winning production designer Howard Cummings and Emmy-nominated costume designer Dayna Pink. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the costume sketches that will be on display: Ella Purnell’s Lucy MacLean, Walton Goggins’ pre-Ghoul Cooper Howard, Frances Turner’s Barb Howard, and one of Caesar’s Legion.

In addition to show artifacts, there will be an interactive component. As the activation designers put it: “Fans will also have the chance to step into the role of the enigmatic Mr. House, played by Justin Theroux, through an interactive photo experience that transforms guests into a digital version of the legendary character.”
Finally, attendees will receive a special Ghoul-themed postcard.

The activation will be open to the public on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT, and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT.
The Fallout experience is the latest themed pop-up experience in a relatively toned-down Emmy FYC season.
Based on the blockbuster video game franchise, the post-apocalyptic series was a major Emmy player for its first season, racking up 17 Emmy nominations, including Best Drama Series, and winning two, for music supervision and its “Vault 33” website.
