A new fine dining experience is set to debut this winter in Scottsdale.
DEPWAH is a French-Vietnamese fusion concept that will feature a rooftop option open day and night.
It’s located near the intersection of Third Avenue and Goldwater Boulevard.
“DEPWAH is a part of me. It carries my culture, my vision and my heart as a mother. I created this space not just to serve food, but to hold people. To remind them of beauty, of intention, of something sacred. It’s Vietnamese and French on the surface, but at its core, it’s soul food for every part of you,” founder Heather Walker said in a release.
The new restaurant will feature a cafe menu, including a variety of coffee, premium teas, artisanal matcha, an espresso bar and will be headed by Cafe Program Director Maurice Murillo.
The cocktail menu will be curated by Sheldon Wiley, a three-time Guinness World Record-holding mixologist and founder of Cocktail Customs.
The interior of the restaurant will feature a “golden lit, luxurious earthy toned main dining area and classic rich wooden bar setting,” according to the release.
John Sofiio of Built, Inc. came up with the design while Kathleen O’Mara, formerly of Prime Steak Concepts, is DEPWAH’s Head of Operations.
“It’s a space born from intuition, built with intention and designed to feed more than appetite. Every detail, from the muted greens to the flicker of late-night light, is about presence. Romance. Ritual. And release,” Walker said.
The lead chef is expected to be announced soon.
