The city of Phoenix has hired a former Peoria deputy city manager as one of their top brass.
Phoenix selected former Peoria Deputy City Manager Katie Gregory as its next chief financial officer, following a national recruitment process. Gregory will begin her role in Phoenix on June 15, succeeding Acting CFO Melinda Holguin, who will continue serving as finance director.
City Manager Ed Zuercher said in a news release that Gregory’s appointment strengthens Phoenix’s long‑standing commitment to responsible financial stewardship and strategic planning.
