Drake’s son, Adonis, is too young to get his driver’s license, but that doesn’t mean he can’t steal a cop car, at least just for a music video. During Drake’s Iceman episode-four livestream, he premiered the music video for his new song “Dust,” in which Adonis and a friend joyride a cop car with Shane Gillis in the backseat. “This is so fun!” Adonis yells as Gillis begs him to pull over. They race around Toronto, causing havoc, until they eventually find a place to park outside the city. As Adonis and his friend run around outside, it seems like they’ve already forgotten about Gillis. “I was in on this; they didn’t trick me. I was doing a favor for Drake, me and him are friends,” Gillis says, still from the back of the cop car. Adonis previously starred in the “8am in Charlotte” music video from For All the Dogs, but clearly Adonis is ready for bigger roles and can follow in his dad’s footsteps when he gets older. Degrassi revival, anyone?
