PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Crews battled a blaze along train tracks in North Philadelphia on Friday evening.
The flames broke out around 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of Glenwood and Germantown avenues.
Authorities said the fire was fueled by piles of trash in the area. It was brought under control after 6 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
Trains in the area were halted until 7 p.m.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
