A Phoenix influencer who was indicted by a federal grand jury last month for allegedly making false statements on his tax returns pleaded not guilty during a court appearance Wednesday.

It is alleged that 33-year-old Charles Davis Lewis falsely reported the full income he earned from Forever Investments LLC, which is an entity that posts videos featuring Davis to different social media platforms, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona.

Prosecutors said that Davis failed to report an additional $807,142 in 2020 and $390,566 in 2021 to his tax preparer.

Instead, he allegedly stored the unclaimed money in personal, business, brokerage and cryptocurrency accounts.
