A 16-year-old sustained life-threatening injuries in a motorcycle crash with a vehicle in Phoenix. The incident is under investigation, and the road is restricted.

PHOENIX — A 16-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries in a motorcycle crash Friday night.

Officers were called to the area of 51st Avenue and Baseline Road for a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle around 8:30 p.m., according to Phoenix police.

When crews arrived on scene, they found a man who had been riding a motorcycle and a 16-year-old passenger in the vehicle injured. 

Both were taken to the hospital. The teen suffered life-threatening injuries.   

The crash is under investigation and the roadway is restricted in the area.
