Golf’s second major of the year heads for the weekend as the 2026 PGA Championship continues on Saturday at Aroniminik Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pa.
It’s a crowded top of the leaderboard with eight players at either 4 under or 3 under. Alex Smalley and Maverick McNealy are the co-leaders at 4 under. While there are some less familiar names right at the top of the leaderboard, there are some stars close behind with Hideki Matsuyama (-3), Cameron Young (-2), Scottie Scheffler (-2) and Ludvig Aberg (-2) all very much in the mix.
Scheffler, the defending champion, is the +390 favorite heading into the weekend in the latest 2026 PGA Championship odds. Young is +950 and Ludvig Aberg at +1200, alongside McNealy.
Before locking in any 2026 PGA Championship picks for the weekend, you NEED to see the golf prediction and projected leaderboard from the proven computer model at SportsLine.
Our proprietary model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, simulates every PGA Tour tournament 10,000 times, and has a lengthy history of being extremely profitable.
Now, with the 2026 PGA Championship heading into the weekend, SportsLine simulated the tournament 10,000 times, and the results were surprising.
One major surprise the model is calling for: Smalley, the co-leader at 4 under, barely finishes inside the top 10. Another surprise: Chris Gotterup rises up the leaderboard despite having longer odds of +1500. He’s a target for anyone looking for a HUGE payday!
The model is also targeting another MASSIVE longshot of around +3000 to surge towards the top of the leaderboard! You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before locking in any PGA picks!
