FORT WORTH – In everlasting memory of David Alan Meeker, a man of many titles. He carried the title of a beloved son to Margaret Meeker, a caring brother to Dan Meeker, and his favorite title of all, a loving father to Aiden and Gavin Meeker. Alan passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025, in his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. He was surrounded by his loved ones making sure that he knew he would not be alone on his journey. Alan was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas with his brother Dan. He graduated from Fort Worth Country Day in 1983 and went on to University of Oklahoma for his freshman year and then went to TCU. Before Alan graduated, he decided to go work for himself and start to build what would be a legacy not only as a businessman but as a family man. Alan was the most hardworking, caring, genuine, and honest man anyone could ever meet. He devoted his life to taking care of others first. He did not have a single selfish bone in his body. A funeral will be held in honor of Alan on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., located at the University Christian Church. For those who are unable to attend in person, University Christian Church will be streaming the funeral at https://universitychristian.org/live/ Flowers are welcome and appreciated, but please know that instead of flowers, you can donate to the Big Brother Big Sister or Michael J Fox Foundations in Alan’s name.
