A fire forced six children and two adults from their Phoenix home, but they escaped uninjured, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.
PHOENIX — Six children and two adults were forced from their home by a fire Saturday afternoon.

Crews were called to the area of 16th Street and Baseline Road around 1:30 p.m. for reports of a structure fire, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

When they arrived, firefighters used hose lines to fight the fire while making sure everyone was out of the house.
Everyone was able to evacuate before fire crews arrived and no one was injured.
Fire investigators are working to determine the cause.
