A 13-year-old boy was seriously hurt after he collided with a car while riding an E-Scooter in Northeast Philly on Saturday, police said.
The child was initially in critical condition, but has since been moved to stable condition, police said.
According to police, the crash happened after the boy, who was traveling southbound on Oxford Avenue, turned diagonally to get to the other side of the street. However, a Nissan was traveling northbound on Oxford Avenue, causing the collision.
NBC10 was on the scene at the intersection of Oxford Avenue and Summerdale Avenue to find police tape marking off an area that had a car with a smashed windshield, as well as a shoe and broken electric scooter.
