Suhail Melhem, 50, head of the Jadeidi-Makr regional council, was seriously wounded and another man, 49, was moderately wounded in a shooting at the regional council in the Western Galilee. Magen David Adom crews evacuated them to Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya. Police have opened an investigation and are conducting a manhunt for suspects in the shooting.
