CHICAGO (WLS) — A line of potentially strong storms is expected to move through the Chicago area Monday morning.
The Storm Prediction Center has the area under a Level 2 slight risk for severe storms.

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for eastern Kendall, Grundy and Will counties until 11 a.m.
The NWS has issued a Sever Thunderstorm Watch for Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Kankakee, Kendall, Livingston and Will counties in Illinois and Lake, Jasper, Newton and Porter counties in Indiana until 5 p.m. CDT.
ABC7 Accuweather Meteorologist Tracy Butler said strong storms could bring some gusty winds between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Butler said showers and clouds are expected to linger in the afternoon and evening hours.
A ground stop was issued at O’Hare Airport and has been lifted.
