Now in its seventh year, Latin Restaurant Weeks is back with two flavor-packed weeks spotlighting the vibrant tastes and traditions of Latin America, running now through July 25. The celebration features exclusive menus and specials from over 60 local spots, including Hugo’s, The Lymbar, La Pupusa Loca, The Food Zone and more, offering everything from Dominican comfort food and Afro-Caribbean stews to Peruvian ceviche and modern fusion bites.

Hidden Omakase at Wooster’s Garden
Hidden Omakase is taking over Wooster’s Garden, 3315 Milam, at 7 p.m. for a one-night-only Tuna Breakdown Summer Social. Guests can expect a lively, standing-room-only experience complete with a live bluefin tuna butchering demo by Chef Marcos Juarez, plus curated tuna bites, signature cocktails, mobile oyster shucking and a caviar cart by Domus. Tickets are $325 per person (including gratuity) and available now on Resy.com.

Trefethen Tasting at Brennan’s of Houston
Brennan’s of Houston, 3300 Smith, invites guests to sip and savor at a Trefethen Tasting from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Join “Wine Guy” Marcus Gausepohl for five 2-ounce pours of Trefethen wines, each paired with a small bite, set up at tasting stations in the John Staub Dining Room. Tickets are $40 pre-sale or $50 at the door, plus tax and gratuity. Dress code is Courtyard Casual.

Pisco Cocktail Party at Alora Restaurant & Bar
Alora Restaurant & Bar, 1816 Westbeimer, is celebrating Peru’s Pisco Day (July 27) and Independence Day (July 28) with a weekend-long cocktail party. Guests can enjoy a special menu of creative Pisco drinks, including the Misty Negroni and a Chilcano flight, all featuring pisco from Peru’s legendary Hacienda la Caravedo.

Paella Sunday at Mutiny in the Heights
Mutiny in the Heights, 1124 Usener, is hosting Paella Sunday with three seatings (1, 4 and 6:30 p.m.) on its patio.
