1. Adult Horror Movie Night
Attendees age 18 and older are invited to the R.B. Tullis Library for a free screening of the 1968 movie “Night of the Living Dead.” The move is not rated.
2. Big Summer Blastoff
Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures will be open all day and into the evening for the first Park After Dark of the year, and the night will end with fireworks. This event was rescheduled from May 23.
3. Summer Reading Registration Party
Sign up for the Summer Reading Program 2026 at the R.B. Tullis Library and receive a free popsicle. The program allows readers to track books and minutes, and is open to participants of all ages.
4. Hurricane Preparedness and Recovery Seminar
Attendees of this fifth annual event will hear from local emergency professionals about how to prepare for homes and families for hurricane season, including tips on generator safety from MADD Roofing and Generators. Hosted by Hank Vat and presented by Studio One Three Media and the East Montgomery County Improvement District, the seminar will include door prizes and the chance to win a new generator.
