A woman wanted in a Wake County stabbing was arrested on Monday in New York.
According to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, deputies obtained an arrest warrant for Tatyanna McDowell, saying she was a suspect in a stabbing on May 9 on Traceway Drive near Zebulon.
The victim in that stabbing suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and deputies believed it was a domestic-related incident.
On Monday, deputies told WRAL News that McDowell was taken into custody in New York City. She is charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
