The school year is over for most districts but the play on the field isn’t quiet to the finish line just yet.
This weekend the University Interscholastic League will host the best softball programs in all of Texas as state champions are set to be crowned.
The Houston area will be well represented and many are favored to win the state titles in their respective classifications.
Here is a look at the matchups this week!
6A Division 1: Pearland (37-6) vs Waco Midway ( 35-5-1) / Saturday 1pm
6A Division 2: Katy ( 38-5) vs Forney ( 37-3) / Saturday 4pm
5A Division 1: Barbers Hill ( 39-5) vs. Aledo (30-10) / Friday 4pm
5A Division 2: Lake Creek ( 39-1) vs. Brewer (27-9) / Friday 7pm
4A Division 2: Liberty ( 38-6) vs. Brock (32-10) / Friday 1pm
