The Northern Liberties Night Market has been operating since 2022 and features a variety of food trucks, craft and street vendors and live music for community members to enjoy.
The popular street festival was scheduled for it’s summertime run on July 23, 2025, but has now been canceled due to financial difficulties, organizers said.
According to a representative, the July Night Market was canceled due to high rising city fees.
This night market is just one of several events that Northern Liberties businesses host during the year. The festivals all require food inspectors, police presence and proper sanitation which have become costly over time.
However, the Northern Liberties Arts and Commerce Alliance has not planned to cancel their 2nd Street Festival and Fall Night Market which are both scheduled for this year.
