PHOENIX — Have you ever wanted to see the Alamo or take a stroll down the riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas?

That will soon be just a short flight away from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, as Frontier Airlines announced Tuesday that it will add a new route this fall.

The airline announced that it will begin flying between the Valley and San Antonio International Airport starting on Oct. 10.

There will be three round-trip flights per week.

How much will Frontier flights to San Antonio cost?

Tickets are on sale now and Frontier is offering an introductory fare of $49 each way for flights purchased before July 29.

The introductory fare will be available for flights on select days between Oct. 10 and Dec. 18.

The fare will not apply for flights that take off between the dates of Nov. 21-26, 28-30 and Dec. 1-2, 2025.
