The Huge Children’s Book Sale takes place Saturday, August 2 from 9:30–3:00 on the lawn of the Doris Foley Library, 211 N. Pine St., Nevada City. Fill a bag full of children’s books for only $5. No limit – fill 5 bags full of children’s books for only $5/bag.
This is a fantastic opportunity for parents, teachers, grandparents, homeschoolers, caregivers and, of course, kids to get their favorite books for re-reading, or books not yet read and maybe those books you’ve heard about and want to read. At $5/bag, there’s no need to leave behind some books you really want – you can get all you want at that price!
There will be books from toddler to young adult, fiction, first readers, books about science, animals and bugs, books for every child. This amazing sale is presented by The Friends of the Nevada County Libraries in support of early literacy in our communities. The Friends are very pleased to be able to support the young readers of our community in this way.
