BREAK IT DOWN:
Kiki Rice 20+ Points + Rebounds + Assists (-113)
Rice has been on the rise lately, proving exactly why she was selected sixth overall in this year’s WNBA Draft. The UCLA alum is averaging 15.2 points and 6.4 rebounds per game over her last five contests while shooting an efficient 55.2% from the field. While she isn’t a major threat from deep, she’s found plenty of ways to impact the game by scoring, distributing, and playing aggressive defense.
Rice has also recorded eight steals over her last three outings, including four in her most recent game, boosting her season average to 1.1 steals per game. Sure, steals don’t count toward PRA, but it speaks to the type of two-way player she’s become. Most importantly, Rice has cleared 20+ PRA in each of her last six games, making this number feel very attainable once again tonight.
Breanna Stewart Under 19.5 Points (-123)
New York may still be the championship favorite, but the Liberty’s offense hasn’t looked quite as dominant lately. Despite winning their last two games, New York hasn’t topped 85 points since its third game of the season. Some of that can be attributed to Sabrina Ionescu missing time with an injury, but Stewart hasn’t been at her usual level either.
The veteran has scored a combined 20 points over her last two games while shooting just 38.2% from the field. On the season, Stewart is averaging 18.8 points per game and has gone over 19.5 points in fewer than half of her appearances. She’s always capable of exploding offensively, but recent form points toward the under here.
Jonquel Jones Under 2.5 Assists (+101)
Plain and simple: distributing isn’t Jones’ primary role. The 6’6″ center has been a steady force in the frontcourt, averaging 8.4 rebounds per game and recording two double-doubles over her last three contests. While she’s chipped in a few assists each night and is averaging 2.7 APG on the season, Jones does most of her work in the paint as an elite rebounder and low-post scorer. The line is certainly within reach, but given her role and typical usage, I’m siding with the public and taking the under on 2.5 assists for a great value.
