A man wanted in connection with a 2025 fatal shooting in Jackson was captured Wednesday in Dallas, Texas.Ahmod McDonald, 36, was returned to Jackson, where he is charged with capital murder for his role in the Oct. 13 death of Laterrance Barnes.Two other suspects were arrested in November.Barnes, 33, was found shot in the head inside a home in the 3700 block of Liberty Street. A motive for the shooting has not been released. McDonald appeared in court Thursday and was denied bond.
