Pickle obsessives, this one’s for you! California-based taco chain, Del Taco, has dropped a bold new flavor combo that’s turning taste buds upside down. Their Fried Pickle Taco is the latest internet pickle craze.

Featuring a crispy, deep-fried dill pickle spear wrapped in a soft tortilla and topped with ranch, shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, and diced tomatoes, this crunchy creation is already going viral.

Instagram food influencer and self-proclaimed pickle connoisseur, Elie Ayrouth, the creator behind @bookofelie, is giving Del Taco’s latest creation his full approval. Known for spotlighting bold, crave-worthy pickle-based bites across L.A., Ayrouth recommends customizing the Fried Pickle Taco by swapping the standard soft tortilla for a crunchy hardshell and leveling it up by adding fried chicken. According to him, the extra texture and protein take the already-viral taco to the next level.

But there’s a catch: this crunchy, crave-worthy creation isn’t available nationwide. The Fried Pickle Taco is being offered for a limited time only and exclusively at select Del Taco locations across Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties.

For those around L.A., this is your chance to get in on one of the most buzzed-about fast food drops of the summer before it vanishes from the menu.
