The L.A. Local | One Year After ICE Raids, Community Groups Say These Needs Remain Urgent

Marissa Montes, director of the Loyola Immigrant Justice Clinic, emphasized the need for legal help, financial help, and mutual aid following intensified ICE raids in L.A. one year ago. “Even though large-scale raids are less visible, people are still being picked up, and that fear persists…Many clients don’t feel comfortable coming into the office at all.”
